Get Involved!

It takes a village to launch a housing project, so we are excited about your interest! We understand that community members have many different strengths and different levels of time and resources to contribute. Below is more information about some of the ways to get involved in Project Fierce Chicago:

Sustaining Membership

Sustainers (or Sustaining Members) are crucial to the success of the project! Members donate to the project each month and are welcome to attend our quarterly meetings. These donations ensure that we are able to continue operating and fund expenses such as food, utilities and security for the home.

If you’d like to become a sustaining member, click the Donate Now button below to get started. Not quite ready to subscribe to monthly donations? You can also make a one-time donation by clicking the Support Us button at the bottom of the page. When prompted, click Donate then Make a One-Time Donation.

We love our volunteers, and would not be able to do this work without you. Volunteers do everything from organizing fundraisers and creating social media to cleaning the house monthly, collecting donations, and compiling research. We ask that all volunteers are able to make at least a 6 month commitment to supporting Project Fierce Chicago’s mission. All volunteers must also complete a mandatory, half-day training. We promise it’s fun! There are 4 trainings throughout the year.

If you are interested in volunteering, please send a note to Cassie Warren.

If you are a group of students or peers who are interested in volunteering at a one-time event, making an in-kind donation, or would like to host an event or fundraiser for/with us, please email

Collective Leadership Board

The Project Fierce Chicago Collective Leadership Board is a small group of dedicated individuals that are tasked with day-to-day responsibilities related to establishing and operating our housing program. We ask that folks who are interested in joining the collective leadership board serve as a volunteer for at least one year.

Please see above for information on becoming a volunteer and email Cassie Warren with any questions.
